DAVID BIGGS

The God-Father of Prop-shafts, founder of the Company and our M.D.

Everyone in the business knows David. If there is something he doesn’t know about Prop-shafts then it isn’t worth knowing! A keen sailor he can regularly be seen on his yacht off the North Wales coast.

MARK BIGGS

Eldest son and David look-a-like. Sometimes referred to as “Young David”.

As Company Secretary and Commercial Director he looks after all the commercial aspects of the business and oversees Purchasing. A very keen golfer in his youth (long time ago!) and still manages to play off 5 today. Has a liking for loud check trousers, but thankfully only on the golf course!

BARRY WHITE

The Walrus of Love! If only he could sing like his name sake, but sadly no - when our Baz sings it’s sure to rain!

Head of Sales, our bearded wonder has a great rapport with customers and ensures the smooth day-to-day running of our sales office.

JOHAN BADENHORST

Our South African import. Johan joined IMS back in 2007 and quickly settled into the English way of life. He heads the warehouse operation and is responsible for both UK and export deliveries.

Loves for his beloved South Africa to put one over the English whether at Cricket, Rugby or tiddlywinks! Can be found at the local watering- hole most evenings!

PETER CHATTERTON

Our Engineering Manager and heads our Workshop Team ensuring all machining jobs are finished on time. A great engineering mind, can make anything using just an old matchbox, a piece of string and some sticky back plastic! He always has a pen and paper handy and is always working something out.

ALAN FOUNTAIN

Quality all the way! Another import from South Africa but Alan is actually English. Moved back to the UK in 1993 and joined IMS as our Quality Manager. Larger than life Alan ensures our products meet the highest quality demanded by our customers.

PAUL RANDLE

Our chocolate loving Repair Shop Manager and life-long Aston Villa football fan. His prop-shaft knowledge goes way back (when he had hair!) and oversees the smooth running of our Repair Shop and OE build facility.
