Recommended Speed / Angle Limits

Due to the motion variation of cardan type joints, the acceleration & retardation of the centre section of the shaft gives rise to a variation in torque.

This, under certain conditions, can produce unacceptable noise & vibration. Graph G gives the general limit for this condition.
